This year on Friday, April 19th we will gather together at 7:00pm at Swift School for a Good Friday service. This service is an opportunity to connect the dots between Jesus’ suffering and our own – how we all have tombs and are fighting hard battles. Together we will sit in the suffering of the stations of the cross. We hope you will join us on this night – you can’t really experience all that Easter is without first sitting in Good Friday.
On Sunday, April 21st we will come together as a church family to celebrate that “Christ is Risen” and that we are risen indeed. We will have a neighborhood breakfast on the front steps of Swift School starting at 9:30AM. If it’s raining or too cold, we’ll move the breakfast inside. We’ll provide juice, coffee and compostable paper products, but please bring some kind of breakfast food to share with everyone if you can. Then at 10:30AM we will move into the auditorium to celebrate and declare that death, grief, injustice, racism, homophobia, disease, poverty and a million other disasters no longer have the final say. Jesus is risen and so are we!
