FALL SMALL GROUPS | October – December 2019
We were made for relationship- an intimate relationship with God, an honest relationship with ourselves, authentic relationships with each other, and a creative relationship with the world. All four of these relationships come together in small groups, and we are excited for our new small group season to kick off in October! There will be sign ups in the lobby for the next couple of weeks, but you can join a group anytime. Check out the details below and contact a small group leader for more information.
MONDAYS | 6:30 P.M. – starting Oct. 7th
Led by Jordan Kelley and Aaron Arnold
6312 N Paulina Ave, #3A
We will be looking at the intersection of important issues, our experiences, and biblical insight. If that sounds too dense, we will also have some kind of food, wine in teacups, and guaranteed laughter. Each month we will have a pitch-in meal to eat together.
TUESDAYS | 7:30 P.M. – starting Oct. 8th
Led by Kelly Carnathan and Denisse Diaz-Ramos
6527 N Bosworth Ave #2
Join us as we read The Sacred Way: Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life by Tony Jones. We will explore an array of diverse spiritual practices through both a theological lens and practical tips on how to implement them into your own spiritual journey.
WEDNESDAYS | 7:30 P.M. – starting Oct. 9th
Led by Liz Whitlock and Ian Whitlock
1656 W Pratt Blvd. #3E
This group is now FULL! Please check out one of our other awesome groups!
The At the Table small group will focus on building relationships around baking together, deeper life questions, and how food and spirituality go hand in hand. Come ready to bake, eat and just be together.
THURSDAYS | 6:30 P.M. – starting Oct. 10th
Led by Melanie Chambliss and Lori Radder
Sheridan and Granville (email for more info!)
How does God want us to relate to one another? Join The Inclusive Christ small group as we discuss community, connection, reconciliation, and faith using Richard Rohr’s The Universal Christ and other readings!
***Max 6 people, please email first!
We would love for you to join us every Friday for dinner and reflection. We will provide the main course and each of you contribute the trimmings. Our goal is to create a strong sense of community in both preparing and sharing a meal without commitment to materials or books, just hanging out. We believe it’s important to process our weeks- the challenges, the victories, and the laughter. It’s even better when shared with community!
DNA stands for Discipleship, Nurturing, and Accountability. Can’t fit a Small Group into your schedule this season? Why not start your own peer-to-peer DNA Group with 2-3 other people? You find the people and set up a day, time, and location to meet. Then email us and one of our pastors will meet up with your group for the first time you meet to help you get started.
